	The most famous avenue in Barcelona not to be missed is: “La Rambla”. It is legendary in Barcelona for street musicians, living statues, and other acts. You cannot go to Barcelona without tasting their Serrano ham. One of the best places for that is : Jamonísimo(www.jamonisimo.com). Rias de Galicia (www.riasdegalicia.com) is renowned in Barcelona for seafood and its relaxed, rustic atmosphere. Be aware that in Spain fish is expensive ! If you are an art addict or you want to discover the universe of one of the world's most famous painters, the Picasso museum is the place to go. Also, don’t miss the Barcelona Cathedral, the Sagrada Família, the Arc de Triomf and the Park Güell. Bear in mind that museums and monuments are often closed on Monday. Opening hours are from 10am to 2pm and from 4/5pm to 8pm. Some museums are free on Sundays.


		The house at no. 10b, Carrer del Comerç, in the Ribera district, has the smallest door in Barcelona !

Holiday:Barcelona holds a bit of something for the whole family; from its vibrant nightlife to its many shops. My wife, the kids and I really enjoyed the statues down La Rambla, the fountains at Montjuic, the Parc Güell and the tiny streets that give a soul to Barcelona. The port is a town in its own right and La Sagrada Familia is well worth a look.

Weather:The weather was hot and sunny.

Don’t miss:Any of the architectural works of Antoni Gaudi; especially La Sagrada Familia.

Food:Barcelona’s cooking is mixed and tasty, and they are not afraid to mix sweet and savoury. The seafood is honoured. Do not leave without having tasted at least the Catalan paella and the famous tapas.
